I have to tell you about a wonderful wedding that we were a part of for the beautiful Tara and her man, Matt. The day was made even more poignant and special given that I knew Tara and her family and so I already knew that I would have a great day surrounded by some of the nicest people and it was indeed special to be able to share in such an amazing moment and give Tara and Matt heaps of our ‘Kombi Karma’.
As is usually the case my day started with getting ‘Dormy’, and me of course, all pretty and making sure that we had everything prepared before we headed over to collect Matt and his mates. What a nice group of guys they turned out to be and I was so happy that when they saw ‘Dormy’ they were so excited with having her for the day. We had a lot of fun taking some pics before we set off kombi cruising into the Geelong Botanic Gardens where I left Matt in the capable hands of his groomsmen to await the arrival of the love of his life.
Meanwhile ‘Dormy’ and I travelled to Leopold to collect the stunning Tara, her gorgeous ladies and her very proud Dads. Again what an awesome group of people who were all so happy and excited on such a special day for Tara. On our lovely cruise into Geelong there were many beeps and waves for the beautiful ladies from all of the other cars passing by. And maybe a few for you too ‘Dormy’, she can get a little jealous!
I must say that the Geelong Botanic Gardens is such a wonderful venue, so beautiful and of course green with some of the lushest foliage which is a great backdrop for a wedding. Tata and Matt had also chosen the awesome Jermaine Clarke jccelebrant.com.au to officiate for their day and if you are looking at someone to liven up your day and make the day fun and filled with exuberance then Jermaine is the celebrant for you.
Overall it was an awesome ceremony that hit all of the key elements and it certainly highlighted the obvious and genuine love and affection that Tara and Matt have for each other and for their friends and family. After lots of hugs and kisses and congratulations there was time for family photos in the gardens before we managed to load everyone into ‘Dormy’ and head off for Bridal party photos at a few locations around Geelong. However as is usually the case all too soon it was time to take this great group of folks back to the Novotel Hotel on the waterfront where their real celebrations with their family and friends of such a wonderful day were set to begin.
I was a bit melancholy and ‘Dormy’ and I headed home however consoled myself with knowing that all soon I would get to share in the wedding day of some more lovely people.
